Raising funds for Giovanni’s Room

Volunteers from Giovanni’s Room will be canvassing for donations for an urgent rebuild of the bookstore’s wall. The 12th Street Wall of Giovanni’s Room must be replaced, to an approximate cost of $55,000. This couldn’t come at a worse time – independent bookstores have been struggling for years, and Giovanni’s has not been immune to the impact of the recession.  Linda and Arleen will be offering small gifts for donations to the cause.
