Thank you for an amazing Libertine Weekend!
Posted in Uncategorized on August 25, 2015 by Kali MorganLibertine Ball 2015: Wild Things = 2+ amazing parties in the Poconos July 25
Posted in Uncategorized on June 26, 2015 by Kali MorganWhere do the wild things go to play? Libertine Ball has been an annual Philadelphia tradition for costumed kinksters, finely heeled fetishists, pervy party animals and deviant dancers of all genders and persuasions since 1999.
This year, Libertine Ball 2015 makes a call to the wilds on Saturday, July 25– inviting real and mystical creatures of the air, land , sea and even fire to come together for an afternoon and evening of fetishistic fun. Beginning with an afternoon Creatures from the Deep pool party we invite swishy fishies, trussed up turtles, freaky froggers , sexy seahorsees, mermen and mermaids, sea urchins, jellyfish and all manner of wet n’ wild to play in the resort’s saltwater “pond. ” Libertine Ball: Wild Things summons cuddly critters, bristly bitches, haute hounds, kinky kitties, bad bunnies, pervy ponies, tribal fireflies, trampled insects, flying monkeys and other sinful species to dance around the bonfire. Tickets are limited to 100 people (Libertine Ball, Diabolique Ball, Café Kink, etc) in the past.
TWO PARTIES (Plus the Leather II Dungeon Party)
Libertine Ball: Creatures from the Deep Pool Party, 1-6pm is a rubberlutionary celebration of midsummer madness with fashion shows, aquatic animal themed performances and dancing driven by the beats DJ David Petrilla Dress Code: Rubber, fishnet, waterproof fetishwear and wet flesh.
During and after the pool party (until 9pm) , you can order snacks poolside or enjoy dinner in the resort restaurant, then take a break to prepare for the evening event(s).
Libertine Ball: Wild Things, 9pm-2am kicks off with a bonfire at 9pm and dancing on the outdoor dancefloor. At 10 or thereabouts we bring you animalistic entertainment onstage followed by indoor/outdoor deviant dancing and improvisational entertainment to the soundtrack of DJ Dutch. Dress Code: Strict fetish = latex, rubber, leather, wetlook, vinyl, fur, fishnet, lace, velvet, animal mask/cosplay,- no cotton (except kilts, jock straps or thongs). All Libertine guests are welcome to drink and play in the Leather II dungeon pavillion as well.
A whole new format
After a two year haitus, Libertine Ball is queering its fetishistic summer adventure by combining efforts with Leather II – a weekend-long (primarily gay) leather event that will be taking place at the same resort. All Leather II events are open to all Libertine Ball guests (and vice versa: honor fetish dress codes for Libertine and Dungeon parties) for as many days as you choose to participate! All of the indoor accommodations on the resort are sold out, but there are still limited RV sites available as well as rustic tenting in the overflow meadow. The local Hampton Inn had a few comfort-driven rooms nearby but they are about to sell out (please be mindful of alchohol consumption if you choose to reserve a hotel room as it is a 15 minute drive down darker mountain roads than many urbanites are familiar with).
Volunteer to make the party! Event organizers are not taking any money from this event– your ticket/admission/member fees go to the resort, so we do not have a guest list. Therefore we are asking each guest to contribute to the event by modeling, gogo dancing bringing food/drink to share (after the restaurant closes at 9pm) some provide some other random act of animalistic fabulousness!
Because this private resort that doesn’t serve alcohol, any adult over the age of 18 may participate in the fun (bring your own food and drink as there is none served once the restaurant closes at 9pm although volunteers may be collecting donations for drinks in the pavilion dungeon) and clothing is optional so there are no confining rules about going topless or otherwise! Leather II is hosting the dungeon party in the pavillon where all Libertine wild things are free to prowl in between dancing around the fire or in the dance club.
Whether you choose to “day-trip” and stay at the nearby hotels (this is high Pocono tourist season, so rooms are scarce and should be booked immediately) or rent an RV and camp out for the weekend, or mabye even “rough it” in a tent in the overflow camp, you will love the accommodations of this resort which include hot tubs, group showers, a salt water pool and a fantastic stage and dance club .
Check out our public Reservation Page where you may schedule as much time as you would like to play in this magical place for this magical weekend

NEW BALL VENUE: Spread the word- Starlight is the Saturday Night Space
Posted in Uncategorized on July 9, 2012 by Kali MorganSaturday night, July 21, 2012, Libertine Ball is moving two blocks away from its originally planned venue to the (appropriately named) Starlight Ballroom on 460 N 9th St Philadelphia, PA 19123.
The Friday meet and greet, Saturday afternoon exhibitionist tour, and Sunday brunch will occur as planned at their original locations, but it is important that anybody and everybody help spread the word about Saturday night because many folks bought tickets with cash and we have no contact information for those persons!
Please direct people to this site for more information and updates! We will post maps to the new venue on Shampoo’s doors and direct people two blocks away to Starlight, but we want to let as many folks as possible know before that happens!
TODAY is the last day to book in the Libertine Weekend Host Hotel
Posted in Libertine Weekend 2012: Intergalactic Asylum on July 3, 2012 by Kali MorganWe have a whole weekend of wickedness planned for you this July 20-22 and it starts on Friday with a mixer and some private rubber time in the host hotel pool (for hotel guests only). But if you do not book your room today, the remaining rooms will be released to the public and the price will go up more than $50 per night! That’s IF there are any rooms left in downtown Philly!
We should warn you that most hotels in downtown Philadelphia are already sold out for the night and that having your own room is a great “landing” spot to get changed into all of the fun outfits for the mixer, the pool, the exhibitionist tour, the Ball and even Sunday’s brunch!
So if you are planning on getting your money’s worth and hitting ALL of the fun events Libertine Ball weekend, you need to BOOK YOUR ROOM NOW!!!
Because after today, Tuesday July 3 the remaining rooms are going be open for a bunch of stodgy conventioneers which is not nearly so fun as a bevy of unconventional deviants!

Flyer Misprint
Posted in Uncategorized on May 25, 2012 by Kali MorganWe are sorry that we didn’t catch this before our flyers got printed (we’ve been individually making corrections since we realized the mistake,
but…
This year’s Libertine Ball is 21+ NOT 18 to enter as we did last year (and only sold 8 tickets to ages 18-20). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
ALSO… although in year’s past we were able to put 18-20 year old people to work as volunteers, the club is not allowing us to do so because somebody snuck alchohol into the club/ 18-20 area. So, sorry about that as well but now EVERYONE at the Ball, ticketholder or volunteer must be 21 years old and in full appropriate fanatasy wardrobe to attend.
